Rivers West Lodge located in the scenic wilderness overlooking the Klamath River offers meals and lodging to our fishing clientele. Rates are $200.00 per person per night. This includes a Bar-be-que steak dinner the first evening and a continental breakfast the following morning. The Lodge also offers accommodations for large groups. Beer and wine are available but guests are welcome to bring their own drinks.

Accomodations

For fishing on the Klamath River, Rivers West offers accommodations at Rivers West Lodge. Whichever river you decide to fish, we will be happy to help with accommodation arrangements at local motels, RV parks, or campgrounds. Please contact us by phone or e-mail and we will be happy to assist you.

Tackle & Gear

Our guide and boats are equipped with the finest rods, reel, bait, tackle and secrets available. We encourage our quests to use our equipment. For those who may prefer their own special equipment they are welcome to bring it along.
Guests should bring:
Valid California fishing license and appropriate punch card.
Valid Oregon license and punch card
Lunch and beverages

Depending on rivers and season, other items that will make your trip more comfortable:
Dress warmly and in layers
Raingear

Rubber boots

Rates

$200 per person per day includes guide, boat, gear and tackle. We cater to the beginner as well as the experienced fishermen, groups, families, and corporate accounts.

Shuttle

For those who are bringing their own boat for fishing the Chetco or Smith River, shuttle service is available.

For the CHETCO RIVER call the Riverside Market, 98877 N. Bank Road in Brookings, Oregon at 541-469-4496. The market is open from 6:00 a.m. to 6 p.m. Riverside Market offers bait, tackle, and Oregon fishing licenses. Riverside's shuttle prices are $10 from Icebox down, $15 from Redwood down and $20 from South Fork down.

For the SMITH RIVER call Lunker's Bait & Tackle, 2095 Highway 199, Crescent City, California at 707-458-4704. Lunker's is open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. They offer bait and tackle. Fishing licenses can be purchased at Hiouchi Hamlet, which is located across the street. Hiouchi Hamlet, 707-458-3114,is open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. They offer fishing licenses, snacks and grocery items, coffee, tackle, gas and propane, and beer. Lunker's shuttle prices are $10 from the Forks to Ruby, $15 from the Forks to the public ramp and $20 beyond.

Reservations

Reservations are required with a 50% deposit. However, we can usually accommodate short-notice trips also. Upon receipt of your deposit, we will send you a confirmation notice. The balance of the fee is due at the start of the trip. Click here for our Online Reservations Form.

Cancellations

If it becomes necessary for us to cancel your trip, due to poor conditions, your deposit will be refunded to you immediately. If it becomes necessary for you to cancel your trip, your deposit will be refunded IF cancellation is made two weeks prior to arrival date. Cancellations received less than two weeks prior to trip date may not be eligible for refund.
